Trafalgar13 is a Barcelona based progressive company specialising in original music production and sound design. For a decade we have composed and produced innovative music for feature films, documentaries, TV productions, and commercials.

Music is a powerful tool affecting the pace, the emotion and the psychology of any visual work. We create soundtracks to best enhance your projects and help tell their stories.

With an experienced in-house creative and technical team, we turn smaller projects around very quickly where necessary. In addition, we also bring to the table a multidisciplinary perspective and approach in shaping and executing larger scale, more complex ideas. How do we create music and craft sound in our studios? We use live instruments and voices wherever we can. With a global roster of artists diversified in ethnicity, demographics, age and experience, we are consistently adding to the already unbelievable wealth of talent.

Our approach has always been about creating the best music for any given project through a collaborative process with directors, the creative´s, their clients and ourselves. Thus, we have scored original music for brands as diverse as Bacardi, Banco Santander, BMW, Coke, Durex, F.C. Barcelona, Fujitsu, Ikea, J&J, McDonald´s, Nike, Nestle, Nokia, Paramount Pictures, Siemens, and Vodafone among others.

Our passion is scoring music full of emotion and crafting absorbing narratives with sound. We have created an individual, artistic and personal language of our own, and all of this has led us to the success and international recognition that our work enjoys today.

People

Toni M. Mir, a composer with over 15 years’ experience runs our artistic team. Always passionate about music  he has produced countless musical compositions and soundtracks.

With a background in both records and advertising, the other pillar running the artistic team is writer and composer Juaco Molins. Formerly a creative editor in agencies such as DDB, Euro RSCG, Ogilvy & Mather, SCPF, and Young & Rubicam , he is currently the lead singer of the group LARUMBÉ.

Together, they understand client´s needs like no other, and thinking outside the box is something this cutting-edge duo is quite familiar with. Most recently received the `Ibero American Gran Prix Award of San Sebastian´ for the composition and production of the original music in the Ikea, "You cannot play in the living room" campaign.
